Si Racha is a large town about 30 Km north of Pattaya on the old Route 3 Sukhumvit Highway.

These are some photos I took when I visited the Samitivej Hospital for a regular check-up. After the visit, I drove over the causeway to Koh Loy, a small island in the bay, where there is both a Buddhist Wat (Temple) and also the Ferry Terminal to Koh Si Chang. (Not to be confused with Koh Chang, which is 100 Km South near Rayong )

Note the loose plastic chairs for the passengers, but they do have life jackets for everyone.

Chinese style builing in the temple

Bottled water being taken out to the island.

Private hire speedboat bring in a passenger from the Island.

Returning ferry coming into port

The Si Racha to Koh Si Chang ferry returning, with people sitting in the top.

Disembarkation.

Passengers standing on the stern deck as the ferry leaves port.

I think the top one means "Do not park on the grass / paths". Next one "No double parking"
